Syteline User Network (SUN) Conference 2026 Recap

The SyteLine User Network (SUN) Conference is one of those events where the conversations are just as valuable as the sessions themselves. Each year, it brings together Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI)/SyteLine users, implementers, and other vendors to explore what’s new, what’s next, and what’s working for organizations using it in their operations. This year, SolutionsX sent over 15 employees, and we were a proud gold sponsor. The CSI/SyteLine community keeps pushing boundaries, and there’s plenty to be excited about. Here are our team’s key takeaways and highlights from the event:

Infor Document Management (IDM) is a powerful tool that many CSI/SyteLine users already have access to but aren’t leveraging. Manufacturers deal with document-heavy processes every day, especially when it comes to estimates, quotes, and customer proposals. Turnaround time matters, and hunting through disconnected systems or folders introduces risk and process inefficiency from estimate to order. At SUN, Joey Himes, Director of Sales and Customer Success at SolutionsX, held a session on new IDM functionality to address the challenges manufacturers are facing.

IDM now allows for the bundling and contextual linking of documents. For example, when an individual is in the process of quoting, and based on the content in the quote, IDM will know to automatically pull in:

• Item specification sheets
• Drawings or technical files
• Company terms and conditions

All of this content is assembled into a single, unified quote packet. And as a result, it reduces manual effort and the risk of mistakes. Another important (and often overlooked) capability highlighted was digital signature support through a standard, out-of-the-box DocuSign integration. Many SUN attendees weren’t even aware that this functionality had existed previously, now letting teams streamline approvals.

Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Lite is coming to Infor CloudSuite Industrial May 2026. A major announcement at SUN was the introduction of EPM Lite as a core component of CSI at no additional cost. EPM itself is not new. It has been a robust, standalone software solution for years and will continue to be for customers looking for more advanced capabilities. The new Lite version delivers a modern, purpose-built financial reporting experience directly within the CSI ecosystem. This enhancement is part of a larger investment in CSI as Infor continues to listen to customer needs and strengthen CSI at its core.

Persona-based dashboards are evolving. Users are requesting better business analytics that are more aesthetically pleasing and easier to navigate. The good news we can share is that it is coming! With new updates and role-based workspaces, users will have better visibility into their data, identify operational trends, and help teams make faster, more informed decisions.
